About CrisisLoop
Building the operating system for organisational resilience.
CrisisLoop exists to help organisations move from reactive crisis management to proactive resilience programmes that are rehearsed, measured, and continuously improved.
The problem
Resilience is still treated as an annual checkbox.
Most organisations run a tabletop exercise once a year, file the report, and move on. Plans sit in folders. Lessons are captured but never acted on. Leadership confidence is based on documentation, not demonstrated capability.
When disruption arrives, the gap between what was planned and what actually happens becomes painfully visible. CrisisLoop exists to close that gap — turning resilience from an annual event into a continuous operating discipline.
Our mission
Make operational resilience a measurable, continuous practice — not a periodic formality.
We give leadership teams the tools to rehearse disruption under pressure, score how they actually perform, and convert every exercise into concrete improvements that compound over time.
Rehearse
Run realistic simulations that force real decisions and expose genuine gaps in response capability.
Measure
Score leadership performance, decision quality, and response execution with structured evidence.
Improve
Turn findings into prioritised actions that persist beyond a single exercise and strengthen posture over time.
The founders
Built by practitioners, not consultants.
CrisisLoop was founded by two people who have spent their careers at the sharp end of operational resilience and technology infrastructure — and who saw the same pattern repeated across every organisation they worked with.
Frank Kahle
Co-Founder
Frank brings over 45 years of experience in technology infrastructure, systems engineering, and platform development. From building and operating an ISP serving 18 cities across Ontario in the 1990s, to designing SaaS platforms and AI-powered systems today, Frank has spent his career building resilient technology from the ground up.
His hands-on experience across telecommunications, Linux systems administration, network engineering, and cloud-native architecture gives CrisisLoop its technical foundation — a platform built by someone who understands what breaks under pressure and why.
Nick Taylor
Co-Founder
Nick specialises in designing and scaling resilient IT operating models that prioritise service reliability, operational efficiency, and technology transformation. With deep expertise across site reliability engineering, service management, and IT governance, he builds structured, high-performing environments that strengthen service delivery and reduce risk.
As a pragmatic leader and mentor, Nick cultivates teams grounded in accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional partnership — driving sustainable operational excellence at scale. His experience in building the organisational frameworks that keep technology running under pressure is what shapes CrisisLoop's approach to resilience.
Why this matters
CrisisLoop was not designed by consultants who advise from a distance. It was built by two people who have lived through system failures, service outages, and operational crises — and who know that the difference between recovery and catastrophe comes down to whether people have practised making decisions under pressure.
Our values
What we believe
These principles shape how we build CrisisLoop and how we think about resilience.
Evidence over assumptions
Confidence should come from demonstrated performance, not documented intentions. Every claim about readiness should be backed by measurable evidence from real exercises.
Rehearsal over documentation
A plan that has never been tested under pressure is a theory. Rehearsal builds the muscle memory, coordination, and decision-making speed that documentation alone cannot deliver.
Continuous improvement over annual reviews
Resilience is not a point-in-time assessment. It is a discipline that compounds. Every exercise, every finding, and every action should feed into the next cycle of improvement.
