Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 April 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrisisLoop platform and website operated by CrisisLoop Ltd ("CrisisLoop", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The platform
CrisisLoop provides a cloud-based operational resilience platform that enables organisations to plan, execute, and learn from tabletop exercises and crisis simulations. The platform includes exercise management, risk registers, control libraries, scoring, training modules, and related tools.
3. Accounts and access
- Access is provisioned by CrisisLoop or by your organisation's administrator.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must enable multi-factor authentication if required by your organisation's security policy.
- You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access the platform using your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose — organisational resilience planning, exercise execution, and related activities. You must not:
- Attempt to access data belonging to other organisations on the platform
- Use the platform to store, transmit, or process illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
- Interfere with the platform's operation or other users' access
5. Data ownership
Your organisation retains ownership of all data entered into the platform, including risks, controls, exercise results, findings, playbooks, and training content. CrisisLoop does not claim ownership of customer data.
CrisisLoop retains the right to use anonymised, aggregated data for platform improvement, benchmarking, and research purposes. No individually identifiable data will be shared externally without consent.
6. AI-generated content
The platform uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate exercise scenarios, risk assessments, training content, and scoring analysis. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before use in operational decisions. CrisisLoop does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
7. Service availability
We aim to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all customer data as confidential. Access to customer data by CrisisLoop staff is limited to what is necessary for platform operation, support, and maintenance, and is subject to audit logging.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrisisLoop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by your organisation for the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, your organisation's data will be made available for export for a period of 30 days, after which it will be securely deleted. CrisisLoop may suspend or terminate access immediately if these Terms are materially breached.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
